In an organization, a lot depends upon the operators who run the machines. These operators are responsible for sustaining most strategies in the organization. A well-skilled, motivated and engaged operator not only contributes to better production in terms of quality and quantity but also maintains and improves equipment. This results in lesser defects, higher productivity, and longer life of the equipment. This is also the important pillar for an organization’s journey from good to great. The most organization has not taken the area as strategic development and suffers on many fronts including failing strategies, customer complaints, fast deteriorating equipment, financial loss, etc.

How Do We Do?

• Defined responsibility of an operator which includes, enhancing the knowledge of equipment he operates, maintaining the equipment and its surrounding, operates machine safely, conducts minor repair, maintain records, keep tools and material at a designated place, contribute to problem-solving, etc. Develop operators as maintenance personnel.
• Develop a program where operators are trained for the equipment and also a basic problem-solving tool
• This results in most skillful and motivate operators that sets a stage for a great organization and TPM initiatives
• Production and Maintenance are the two most important contributor and beneficiaries in this project
